Home of CrossRoads Student Ministry
Our purpose at J6 Student Ministry is to try to engage students in
God, who He is, and how He fits into their lives. Our desire is for students to experience God, not just talk about Him. At
our core we dig in about Wonder, Discovery, & Passion. Every student is going to give their heart to something. We want
to invoke wonder for God, His creation, His works, & His word. At the heart, everyone is wired for Discovery. We want
to be curious and search after answers. Then there’s passion. We long to make connections to make a difference. Connections
with one another and connections with others around our community and world. Everyone wants to be a part of something bigger
than ourselves. We stir that passion to run after God; to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others they meet.
God never called us to go to church, but to be the church so rather than another spectator sport mentality, we try to generate

In
John 6, Jesus feeds 5000 plus with a lunch for a child. In verse 35, Christ says, “I am the bread of life, he who comes
to me will Never hunger…” Christ Met the people’s Physical need and bridged the gap to meet their spiritual.
That is the idea Behind J6, to grow in Christ by Meeting the physical needs of people and making Disciples for Christ together.
